About Us

The Hollyburn Heritage Society was formed in 1998 with two main goals in mind:

1. to restore Hollyburn Ski Lodge for future generations to enjoy, and

2. to collect, assemble, catalogue and share the history of Vancouver's North Shore mountains; in particular, Hollyburn, Black, and Strachan.
Incorporated in April 2000 and receiving registered charitable status with Canada Customs & Revenue Agency, we welcome financial donations for which you will receive an income tax deduction receipt. Your donations support HHS projects that advance the Society's mandate. B.C. Parks & Cypress Mountain do not receive any funds from HHS.

HHS membership is by way of donation: financial - volunteer time - items (photographs, articles, etc.). Cypress Bowl Recreations has permitted HHS to mount panels & some artifacts in the 'back room' of Hollyburn Ski Lodge to relate this history. To download a pdf copy of a membership form, click here
